Am I the only one here who is wondering why no media news outlet has reported the Assistant DA Couch's website scandal? Certainly they all have known since yesterday afternoon. What exactly is going on in North Carolina that scares the news media?

Where is the Federal Justice Department in investigating these corrupt government officials in North Carolina?

And yes, a ruling remains a ruling even after the judge is switched.

This is my question, we know the above how? Sure it is logical. Sure it might be the way things are done in your state. But as you say, you don't play musical judges in your state either. NC is apparently different than every place else. So how do we know a rules stays in force after a judge changes. [He could certainly on a motion or on his own accord reverse this ruling could he?]

I guess the best evidence I see for the ruling staying in force is that the defense attorneys did not to renew the motion to have a record made first thing before this judge. These are very good attorneys so I guess they must know what they are doing.

If I'm correct that guy changed his tune too. I knew he was on O'Reilly once, but we could be talking different people.

I know of one black former Detective that was on O'Reilly and questioned whether a rape took place. Later, that guy with the Mustache and relatively young (I keep forgetting his name), was saying that sources inside the Durham PD were telling him that someone on the inside was "cooperating" with them (as in a player had turned). For a player to turn, there has to have been a crime.

So, if we are talking the same guy, he changed his tune.

In my opinion, this thing is pretty polarized at this point.

I will say that I only watch O'Reilly a couple times a week and we could be talking about 2 different people.

I called a Radio GM today (Raleigh/Durham). He said they wouldn't discuss it until there's a Published report.

I don't remember that Judge Stephens made a ruling that the proceedings would be recorded. It was more of an informal thing. The defense attorneys asked and the proceedings were recorded. The was in the first setting. Maybe they didn't renew their request because they saw a court reporter there for the second setting. Just guessing.

Idiots in TV here. There could be a nuclear bomb exploded and the Raleigh TV news people would lead with a sports story.
