Allen In SoCal in now Allen in Texas Hill Country, Kerrville. So how does one change their screen name without losing their history and background? I've been living on FreeRepublic for over 8 years and don't want to lose that history and identity.
Keep the name, and use a tagline if you feel it necessary.
It's an Admin change. Write to moderator or JimRob.
I can't answer your question, (sorry)...but, I do want to welcome you to Texas.
You have moved to one of the most beautiful parts of Texas..and I envy you.
I LOVE Kerrville - they have one of the greatest craft shows anywhere!
Welcome to Texas -
I had the same question - I switched parties to become a Republican in 2001, and wanted to know about changing my name. However, I also wanted to keep my 'born on' date, etc. Many people told me to just keep it, and amend it in my tagline (which I did) and explain more on my homepage.
Howdy!
Welcome to Texas, were glad to have ya.
The only thing wrong with Kerrville is my ex-wife lives there. Watch out, she's evil!!
Take a trip through the Hill Country (Fredericksburg, New Braunsville, etc), and check out Salado on I35 during the weekend. Now, admittedly, right now at 105 degrees, staying inside is the best idea. However, a trip to the Riverwalk in San Antonio will cool you down.
LOL...too funny.
All your exes live in Texas?
When you find out what to do, post it here or send me a freepmail. I had a screen name before my current one, and I'd like to combine the two.
Is a tagline------- what/where is a tagline?
Say hello to my MIL. She's short and We call her Granny Anne.
Welcome to the Texas Hill country!
Welcome to the Texas Hill Country! I am about 70 miles south of you. The weather will get better in September...or maybe October....never mind. Have a cool one and sit in the shade.
Welcome to Texas. Here is a web site you may want to take a look at for Hill Country information.
