Of course without Mozilla...Microsoft would not have any new(sic) ideas.

So how are those who are using it liking it?

I had it installed, but it didn't appear to be working well with my extensions.

The uninstall was very well-behaved, tho.

I have not tried it yet....I am busy working with the Gee Whiz stuff on the new Linux 10 Enterprise Desktop....it is really well put together....beats any Linux system out there...really checks out all the hardware, handles the Nvida Force 4 integrated sound and ethernet ok and even my new Viewsonic wide 19 " display....sets it up properly at 1440 x 900..

Ubuntu totally screws that up....

ACK!!! I KNOW!!!!

Ubuntu's Live CD messed up the digital input from my ATI card into my Viewsonic somehow -- had to switch to the analog cord.

What's with that???

The tools on Firefox I use most are BBCode and BBCodeXtra which allow me to bold, strikeout, italic, color, font, image, url, etc. with a mouse click. Great for answering posts here on FR.

Thanks for the thread. Everyone should ditch old IE. I'll probably wait until the beta goes final and all the extensions are updated to work with it before I install it.

Already had some of these from new extensions but they are darn good additions to the basic functionality.

If a web site isn't designed for Firefox, I simply don't visit it as often. Ebay lost my business as a result of having to reload searches because it can't handle that browser 100% correctly.

Yes, they have been modifying some names ....we now have:

Introducing SUSE Linux Enterprise 10

This is aimed at business and is a non free product and then there is this:

Welcome to openSUSE.org

I am running the Release Candidate #3 of the Enterprise Desktop product.....

I don't know if there is any difference in the actual products other than the fee and support.

Thanks for the info on SUSE. I have been using Ubuntu for some time with good success. Have you ever tried that?

Sorry, they are Extensions and these two can be found here:

Firefox Extensions: Editing and Forms

All the Extensions can be found here:

Extensions

Browse the extensions and plug-ins and you may find some you'd like to have.
