Call your dad and ask him how they collected those lamb fries in the 'Olden Days'. Unfortunately, my dad died in 1973 when I was a senior in high school however I am quite familiar with how it was done since I worked on a hog farm one summer and helped with the process of castrating young boars.

I think he"s referring to the fact that in the old days, the farmers would pick up the spring lamb and use their teeth to pull the nuts off.

Saw them do it when I was a kid.
