Success, which spoils things, has most surely changed the time-honored menu of the great Testicle Festival.

I know it well - they're the ones who got me addicted. But, I don't live there, anymore!
Used to phone in late-night orders and send my hubby all the way across town down there to the Stockyards to pick them up. In the snow, even. On ice.
LOL, in Amarillo, we always stayed at one of those motels on the freeway (Historic Rte66, natch) as close to the Big Texan steakhouse as we could get (they even had one of their own!), so I could get my late-night lamb fry or calf fry fix! That's after having them for lunch and dinner, too!
NOW has been cutting off nuts for years!
I think he"s referring to the fact that in the old days, the farmers would pick up the spring lamb and use their teeth to pull the nuts off.
Saw them do it when I was a kid.
