My #1 (head and shoulders above all the other irritants cited in this article):
There are entirely too many police manning speed traps and giving out tickets.

I saw a guy driving with a parrot on his shoulder the other day. No kidding.

More nonsense to get us ready for a cell phone ban. Don't buy into it. The government only wants it for revenue enhancement and a chance to take a warrantless peek to make sure you aren't carrying a bit of pot in the trunk or anything else our overlords consider naughty.

Running a little late for work, they often can be seen grooming and shaving while driving. To be certain, this is never an issue for those of us of the female persuasion.Puh-leeeze!!! I've never seen a a man shaving while driving.
How many women have I seen putting on mascara or lipstick while driving?
I'm sure the answer is in the tens of thousands.
And that was just this morning's commute!

I usually run the speed limit unless traffic is flowing much faster but I never use the passing lane as a cruise lane anyway.

#2 is my #1.
And not to start a fight here, but, 8 out of 10 times it is a woman - ususally chatting on a cell phone.
Flame suit on!

6. Do you find that reaching up and turning on that pesky turn signal is more effort than you care to expend while driving? Not bothering to use your turn signal is the sixth-most irksome thing you can do when behind the wheel. I usually holler out the window, "Were turn signals an option that year?"

"8. Due to the fact that I get into deep hot water with motorcycle riders every time I write something negative about motorcycles driving in between lanes, I feel it necessary to post the following disclaimer: I did not conduct the survey. Hagerty Insurance did. That said, the survey concluded that motorcycles that split lanes are No. 8 on the list of what infuriates drivers the most."
Which is kinda dumb. Why partake of a traffic jam if you don't have to. If it bothers you so much, buy a bike and save hours on your commute.

I can honestly say I don't give a crap about #1, and I don't even notice it, UNLESS, #2-#10 draws my attention to that driver. THEN it might cause me to mentally chide them, but if I see someone driving safely while talking on a phone, I have no problem with that.

Absolutely. And they are always positioned to give tickets to the commuting serfs on their way to and from work.

...the survey concluded that motorcycles that split lanes are No. 8 on the list of what infuriates drivers the most. I'm a biker, and IMO this is justification for opening your door.
And cell phones? There was a story in the local paper about a lady who was chatting on a cell phone, walked around a gate and into the path of a train. Some folks should not chat and drive.
Reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw...I wonder if you'd drive any better with that cell phone shoved up your ###!
