Running a little late for work, they often can be seen grooming and shaving while driving. To be certain, this is never an issue for those of us of the female persuasion.

Puh-leeeze!!! I've never seen a a man shaving while driving.

How many women have I seen putting on mascara or lipstick while driving?

I'm sure the answer is in the tens of thousands.

And that was just this morning's commute!

My wife puts on makeup in the car.

Of course, I'm driving...

agreed. very few men "groom" while driving, but women do it all the time. and c'mon, how dumb is it to apply eyeliner or mascara when driving? one little bump and you lose an eye.

Guess you've never seen my husband. ;) The stuff he does while driving, drives ME crazy. Needless to say I'm a very poor back seat driver (too many comments) 'cause I'm afraid I'm gonna die.

I've seen men shave while driving. I've also seen them read newspapers and other papers while driving at 60+ on a highway.

And yes, I've seen women doing their hair and makeup while driving as well.

I don't think distractions are confined to one gender.

I actually did see a man shaving while driving. . .once. I see women grooming while driving pretty frequently. I have put on lipstick at a stoplight before, but NEVER when the car is moving.

I'll second that - although, I did see a guy using an electric shaver, ONCE, while we were all stopped in traffic. It was a bit disgusting, but not dangerous.

But the "grooming" booby-prize definitely goes to women - put on your freakin' makeup at home!
