Many of our cops work various other security jobs. It was always my first guess that the security lady at Kroger's was likely an off-duty or retired cop. (I still think so.)

According to Kim's statement, she went to Kroger's to ...

"seek the help of an off duty police officer.. Only a security guard was there so we proceeded to call 911"...
Which "off duty police officer" was she looking for and why? Maybe she knows one who would have given her a break and taken the AV off her hands... Like I asked before... If she wanted a cop why not drop her off at the police station.

She calls 911, takes 25 minutes to drive a couple miles, stops at a Kroger, only to call 911 again.
