10 fun booze movies. I pick W.C. Fields myself.

Anyone seen the early Thin Man movies? Boy, before the Hayes Office got their digs in, those guys drank like fishes!

I guess Lost Weekend and Leaving Las Vegas didn't make the fun list.

What about "Leaving Las Vegas?"
It wasn't a real fun movie though.

Papa's Delicate Condition starring Jackie Gleason.

"The Shining" - exquisite bar scenes. Except that they weren't there...

Yeah, they only went for fun drinking movies, not the realistic ones. (though "Barfly" wasn't really funny. More realistic.)

You had to be hammered to understand it.

The Days of Wine and Roses was an incredibly made film and illustrated the path of destruction an alcoholic often chooses.
Jack Lemmon's finest work.

Star Wars -- the series...
There is a "cantina" scene in every one!...AND
These comedic bar & grill moments are reprised in other Harrison Ford flicks...
Indiana Jones II (Temple of Doom)..... the escape route takes them out the door and around the "Obi Wan Cafe"..... also...
Clear & Present Danger -- Jack Ryan & Clark find the helo pilot passed out drunk in the local cantina -- very deja vu of the first Star Wars search for Han Solo.... in the cantina...

The Big Lebowski
Can't beat a film where the main character has a White Russian in his hand for almost every scene.
Favorite line, of many, "You mix a mean Caucasian Gary."

Almost every scene has people either drinking or getting eaten . . .
