It's not all that outrageous; IIRC, gender differences manifest themselves at a very early age -- and they do 'manifest themselves', they aren't taught to children -- so it's possible the kid simply showed 'girl' right from the start.

I'm with my children 24/7. Anything can be taught. Or suggested. It probably all started with the child making a comment or engaging in a particular behavior, and the parents overreacted, leading the child to obsess about it, then the "psychological" visits with more questions and prodding probably compounded the problem.
I feel so sorry for this poor child.

(That's taxes, not Texas. I have no beef with TX. NJ has the highest property taxes in the nation.)
