Of course, I am cheering for the Italians. Isn't every red-blooded American?

Two goals in one half?
I thought that was illegal. They'll have to do something to cut down on excessive scoring.

You're wrong about the number of comments. The thread is over on Chat.

Go Italy! Screw France! If it wasn't for penalty kicks the cheese-eaters would never score at all.

France Loses! France Loses! Some other team won, I guess.

Like you, I didn't care who won as long as France lost.

Zidane must have cursed France with his horrid, unsportsmanlike behavior. I will remember him always for the dirtbag foul he committed...

"Surrender Monkeys" -- LOL I love it!!!

WHAT was Zidane thinking? What a horrid way to end a career. Even more sickening was seeing Bill Clinton in the stands - barf! Did the French invite him?

WOO HOO!
I just got back from 18th Ave (Bensonhurst). There's a party going on. I didn't know that there were still that many Italians left in the neighborhood. Maybe they came from the rest of Brooklyn, too. And Long Island. And Jersey. And points beyond.
It's the place to be.

Better food, better friends and better soccer players. Kudos to Italy!
