Geez. Where'd THAT come from? I went back and re-read, and didn't notice anything that could cause such a remark.
Have a GREAT day!
"I can't wait to see it. I love Depp!"
You and me both! I just love his acting.
Funny, fast, and riotous movies are such a joy. So many snobs and the elite think no one ever is confronted by "real life" in their jobs or daily grind. I wonder how many snobs actually are in the trenches dealing with the grit of reality or are they all walled up behind their gated communes and private jets.
Vive LeDepp!
Better "Pirates" than "An Inconvenient Truth", or "Good Night and Good Luck", or, God forbid, Michael Moore's latest installment of "Dude, Where's My Winky?"
Dear OpusatFR,
Gee, I don't have a private jet OR live in a gated community.
However, I don't really care for it when empty-headed entertainers say things like:
"America is dumb, it's like a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, aggressive."

I won't criticize folks who differ, but personally, I prefer not to patronize the trash that jackasses like this put out.

What's with the "American's are such stupid dogs" comment?
Sounds so Communist 50's.
I think Depp is sort of a silly little actor who is more often than not type cast
in some costume drama. He was ok in Neverland, but hundreds of actors would have been ok just as well.
Keira Knightley on the other hand, in spite of her handlers is nothing but magical.
Not this thread but many, many, many, many previous movie threads here.
Basically, you're supposed to watch "The Passion of the Christ" over and over again on DVD and nothing else, or you're a liberal sympathizer, and any movie that fails or that has disappointing box office is because it isn't "The Passion of the Christ."
I actually didn't quite get what the big deal was over the first movie. Could be I'm tired of [irate cliches...Something like Master and Commander is more my speed.
and ticket prices have climbed $2 since Star Wars 3...
which didnt have a good run, if I recall....it didnt get repeat views
I like Johnny Depp. He is a fantastic actor. I know he has said some anti American things, but t least he is not a hypocrite and moved to France.
Looking forward to seeing Pirates II when it comes out on DVD. Only been to the movie theater 4 times since 1982. ET and the 3 Lord of the Rings movies.
I've always thought he was a good actor, but "Finding Neverland" showed me that he is a great one.
I HATE TO HEAR THAT! I boycott movies starring the extreme, lefty, liberal Johnny Depp just like I boycott Jane Fonda, Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon and Babs "My nose is so big it has it's own zip code" Streisand.
BTW, didn't Johnny Depp move his family to Europe to get away from Bush's America?
Ticket prices have not gone up $2 in 14 months and SW3 won the year with $380 mil in revenue, $90 mil better than the nearest competition Narnia and HP.
IMHO, the movie doesn't even sound interesting considering I never even watched the first one.
At least Depp really did leave the country. Too bad Alec Baldwin didn't do the same.
Call me a stupid dog cause I'm gonna go see it.
Your loss, Depp is a great actor.
