My favourite warbird is the Lancaster, in December 2001 I visited RAF Bruntingthorpe which is the home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and I took this photo of the Lancaster.

I didn't forget yuns, I took hundreds of pics today, I need some time to sift through them to pick out some good ones. I'm really beat and tired so I'll be in a better frame of mind tomorrow. B-) I do plan to stay home and rest tomorrow although I'll go out and snap some more pics since the planes fly over my house. The "Fat Albert" plane (the C-130 that goes with the Blue Angels) was a treat to watch as well as I sat in the pilot's seat of a C-130J flying TV/Radio station. Would be cool to have, something to connect an 8-Track to and broadcast some tunes or to bring Michael Savage to the oppressed peoples of the world. B-) Seriously, the plane is like a modern version of the old "Stratovision" that was proposed in the 1940's and actually used for educational TV in the Midwest back in the 1960's.
