No time to look at a replay, but not a likely place to head one home.

I've never seen such a sad collection of weeping paper dolls. It's embarrassing, really.

C'mon guys, hurry up and score, North Korea has already fired 4 missiles.
To: romanesq
Should have at least been on target.
To: UKRaddell
Agreed. The pressure no doubt.

Is this a good soccer match, or a really, really bad soccer match? Or is there a point where it's a little of both?

They never miss in the shoot-out.
Could put Angela Merkel on; she'd score.

It's been a good match. Italy has been excellent defensively and Jens (and the woodwork) have saved Germany.
The ref has let them play and that helps.

Agreed. And thank the heavens the ref isn't deciding the match.
The woodwork of course may.

Well, in my novice opinion, the first half was too conservative, the second was better, and now it's gotten very good in extra time.

I guess it's the soccer equivalent of a pitcher's duel. I did see some really good saves, but I couldn't tell if that was due to sterling defensive work or feeble offense.
