The Department of Natural Resources...
...informed me that I should not jump on the back of alligators, Brent says. I agree with that the take home message is not to jump on the back of a gator."
And also take caution near water. It's the summer season which means alligators..

Brent is lucky to be here. I will whack a gator with a stick to get it off the driveway, no way will I try that in the water.

Why don't they just have open season on these gators and rid society of them?
To: TheCrusader
They should allow more hunting.
The DUmmies voted for excessive protections so there is a big mess now.
Same with bears, wolves, mountain lions, rats...

Why don't they just have open season on these gators and rid society of them?Yes, I wish they would too. It seems they have been rather active lately eating people and dogs. My husband and I may be going to Florida in a few months and I am wary of the gators.

Chance did get a second chance, and so did Brent. Amazingly both got away from the gator with only minor injuries, but the whole event has left everyone shakenI am glad they are both ok. Brent must have had a guardian angel with him that day.

I would rather the Avon lady come knocking than that thing!!lol
