I do understand that there are some Guardian reporters who won't watch CNN because it's too right-wing!

Please hold out, England.

Is nothing sacred?

North London.
I'm actually from Rochdale near Manchester; been here 14 years.
No jokes about Rochdale's football team please!

Gerrard, Lampard, Ashley Cole should be in the England lineup. England favored to win it now!

Are Angland just playing crouch for comedic value?

Sorry to say it, but Peter Crouch definitely is a freak. These thin arms and legs really kind of irritate me ;-).

I mean, I myself am as tall as Crouch, but I rather look like a Rammstein band member than a grasshopper. But apparently English women find Crouch sexy, so who am I to say anything.

Ah, don't you love it when they play "Que sera, sera" in the statium. That is pure genius, a brilliant idea :-).

Yeah I agree. Though, every time Portugal got close, there were English defenders there, exactly where they were supposed to be.

I saw people in the stands smoking. I wondered if that was allowed or if they were just doing their own thing.
