Not really, all sensible areas are in the hands of the police. It takes max. 5 minutes until the first dozens of rioters are arrested. That happened several times in various cities, there has never been much damage. The security concept is working well. It could be a problem if Germany loses - because the fans outnumber the policemen - but it ain´t happen /joking.

Injured Portugese player. Trainer looks to be checking for suspected diaper rash.

(And I'm rooting for Portugal...)

"It could be a problem if Germany loses"

Way you're boys are going, that doesn't look likely.
Congrats on yesterday by the way. I did enjoy that (and won of couple of pints on it!).

Portugal is taking dives and trying to instigate penalties. Ronaldo is more worried about blaming English players than actaully playing the game.

Sounds a bit high that number. It´s true that we´ve had border controls (unusual since we joined the Schengen Treaty), and that more than 100 British cops are patrolling in Germany with full arrest rights.

Thanks, I´m hoping for penalty shootout in your game too. That would be exciting. If there were more Brits like you, I´d cross my fingers for a WC win for you. Btw, can a Scottish player join the English team? I mean, you all have the same passport, and that´s what matters, isn´t it?

"can a Scottish player join the English team?"

I don't know what the exact ruling is, but as far as FIFA are concerned, we are 4 completely separate countries.

I was at Wimbeldon during the 98 World Cup. Could've heard a pin drop in the pub when Argentina won the match in penalty kicks.
