Well my fav was the old guy in the Winnebago.
Don't ever drive in front of an old guy in a Winnebago, EVER.
Don't even think of giving him the finger.

I have to agree.
Hopefully it will pick up now that Vernon Dozier is on.

Thanks for the link. Hendrie is awesome. Last show = major bummer.
Pastor Rennick and Father McQuarter are a riot.

The end was kind of...anti-climactic.

Remember the "gay man, gay reporter" who threatened to reveal that an uunamed movie star named Brad Pitt was gay if he didn't get front row seating at the Oscars? The calls that charcter would get were hilarious. I'm going to have to buy a CD of Hendrie's stuff now.

It's too late now but it would have been better to tape some of his best bits off the radio, then edit them to your taste.
I'm sure a lot of people did that, but how you would go about finding some good bootleg tapes is up to you.
You might try EBAY. Actually, just checked Ebay and there is a big collection of Best-ofs from 2000-05 on sale for 3 more days.
No, i'm not the seller!

Before he seemed to quit there vwas a ton of funny bits. Do you recalll the onabout the irate groundskeeper for a golf course?

Was that with the infamous Dean Wheeler?

Did you know Joe Crummey is in Phoenix on afternoon drive on KFYI? He's great!

I was hoping this was all a hoax. What I'm curious about is who's going to take his place in all those markets? The station I got him on is now running Rollie James.

I've laughed so hard at Hendrie's nonsense interviews that I've had to pull off the road and laugh in the parking lots of the strip malls.

They've either gone 'local', or added Savage or Levin or some Lib, depending on political affiliations.

And it's too bad. Hendrie may have run out of gas from time to time on his show, but I sure would like to hear him talking about the war in the Middle East. I fear that he's pulled a "McClain Stevenson" -- dropped a popular show in favor of doing other things, but then only ruined his career.
