Syndicated talk show host Phil Hendrie will broadcast his radio show for the last time tonight.
General Johnson Jamison(sic).
At Ted's of Beverly Hills...
We want to put our meat in your mouth...
Sure it could get boring at times; but doesn't everybody.
Maybe 3 hours a night was too much.
He had his moments of greatness. My favorite bits were those which involved the Citizen's Auxillary Patrol. There was one which involved the group playing a charity basketball game at a high school followedby counselling the teenage girls in their convertibles . Everything innocent, of course.
Listened to him a few times while I lived in Florida. Glad he is moving on. His brand of humor/talk bordered on offensive most of the time.
Just about everyone got skewered and lampooned by Phil, including gays, pro choice people, and muslims.
As far as the crudeness goes, I think his show got more tame as the years went on, even before the Janet Jackson incident. After 9/11/01 he toned it down a little. Prior to that I seem to recall the local radio station actually airing an advisory about the adult content of the show.
Sure, I care....
One question.... Who's Phil Hendrie?
He is going to some show about teachers...called "teachers". It wasnt very funny. I did like his radio show. Once he compalined about some lefty he saw on the freeway with a "war is not the answer' sticker" so he drove by him, giving him the finger.

I care. Mark Levin is taking over that time slot on WFLA.!
I'm happy!
I'll miss him. He's a real comic innovator. I'm hoping his retirement announcement is just another one of his gags.
Allright, fair enough. But i don't need to agree with everything someone stands for in order to like them or not.
Yeah, in the end you knew he was a pretty darn good guy.
Great sense of humor, and supporter of his country: a true patriot.
Geez, makes him sound like he's dead.
Hey Phil: knock 'em dead.
Lucky you. In LA we get slob jock radio.
That sucks! He is a radio genius.
He hasn't been on the air in Houston for a couple years - Savage and then Tony Snow and now Mark Levin took his place - and he's sorely missed.
Yes, he could sound somewhat lewd at times with the double entendres. Not everyone's cup of tea.
Yes, I listened to him when I worked midnights and I really enjoyed the first hour and then I kind of drifted off, but I looked forward to his program. That was about the only thing I liked about that shift.
He is very smart, I would have loved some truly brave anti homo, anti abortion from a talented guy like him, if everyone else was fair game, why not them. That's not something you see everyday but I doubt he had it in him, that said, I concede your point.
I don't know, i just made it up.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .....
