Under what conditions would the police be entitled to "seize" the complainant's computer - I assume the complainant is the AV in this case?

The materials Nifong did not turn over to the defense as part of discovery seem to be potentially significant and readily identifiable. Is Nifong simply establishing a sloppy record-keeping story? Are these the games DAs normally play and are allowed to play?

Panic is no justification for such a serious false accusation. If the AV filed a false complaint and maintained that false complaint then she should suffer the consequences. To do otherwise is to open others to similar false complaints.

It certainly appears they might be at least worrying they have some civil liability due to their coverage of this and are try to build a our coverage was balance defense. Why else pin this last paragraph to the end of the story?

Certainly it is true and somewhat new information. But it really does not fit with the story which is about the motions for today.

The NandO wants the trial conducted in public. That is no secret filings. That is probably standard practice for them. Not that they will tell us, but that they should get to see everything and decide what they want to publish.

You might have felt someone had actually responded a bit to you had Hank Woods not claimed that Brodhead cafefully considered each decision.

For cancelling a sports season alone, he should be fired. Does he cancel classes and screw all the kids in them out of tuition, if another classmate is accused of a crime?

I agree with you totally. Using this would be/could be used as a defense if SHE WINDS UP GOING TO TRIAL which I hope is what happens in the end.

Why does she have her children given her professional background??? Who's their daddy? I have a feeling someone should check the DNA of these kids.
