Corsi files FOIA request to expose plans for 'North American union'
World Net Daily ^ | June 20th, 2006 | World Net daily

Author Jerome Corsi filed a Freedom of Information Act request yesterday asking for full disclosure of the activities of an office implementing a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada that apparently could lead to a North American union, despite having no authorization from Congress.

Corsi specifically has requested the partnership's membership lists, constitutive documents, meeting minutes, meeting agendas and meeting schedules as well as all findings, reports, presentations or memoranda.

He also wants all comments to representatives of the "Prosperity Working Groups" or other working groups, committees or task forces associated with the partnership along with internal and external interagency or intra-agency memoranda of understanding, letters of intent, agreements, initiatives and budgeting documents.

The purpose of the FOIA, he said, is to get the "full facts exposed in the light of day, available for the American people and for Congress to examine and decide."

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is demanding the Bush administration fully disclose the activities of the SPP office.

Well, now there are some flying monkeys posting om his behalf so he doesn't look as if he's pimping.

If, on the other hand, he doesn't want to bother with the FOIA material and merely engage in fact-free fear-mongering, then this is perfectly timed.

He either gets something useful or not.  If he does then he can strut.  If he doesn't then he can hold up the empty form as proof that there's  some high level cover-up going on.

win-win.

Fortunately, we still have committed conservatives like Jerome Corsi

He's been committed? What's the name of the institution? I'd like to send him some crossword puzzles or something.

Even if one is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, it's tough to explain his certainty that this conspiracy exists while (by filing his FOIA request) all but admitting he doesn't have the whole story.

The CSM is at this very moment planning Corsi's demise.

The North American Union can't be stopped!! The conspiracy will continue.

Tell the CSM I think it would be cool to use HAARP for this one.

I just hope you guys will wait and see what he finds from the FOIA request.

In the meantime I urge you to read the reports. It is apparent that many of you have not.

Filing a FOIA request is 'going hysterical'?

You seem to be the one who wants to hype up the drama. Get a grip.

Why should we? He hasn't.

BTW, what's your relationship to Mr. Corsi?

No, his writing numerous articles about this supposed union is hysterical. How many of them have been posted here?

There's no drama for me to hype. That's the whole point.

Perhaps that is how you operate. I, however am a Conservative that is genuinely concerned about this issue. If you cannot bring yourself to actually analyze the material given, then take your ad hominem attacks back to the liberal zoo where they and you obviously belong.

Really Dog Gone?

Have even read the articles? have you read the CFR study? or is it simply easier for you to discredit a genuine concern until soemone else tells you to be concerned?

Is that what conservatism is all about? Following the crowd? or is it standing on your principles and thinking for yourself?

The information has been provided. The rest is up to you. As we say in Texas, "You can lead a horse to water but you cant make a liberal think."

I hope that is not you.

But which conservative are you? On the Internet, that's always the first question to ask when one sees what appears to be a carefully-coordinated marketing plan.

Are you Mr. Corsi? Do you have any affiliation with Mr. Corsi, Human Events, or WorldNetDaily?

A Woody-Allen type wisecrack is considered debate?

The http://www.spp.gov website is a real government URL. The issues we see with the immigration debate are being driven by both liberals and 'conservatives'. Why? Why is there a desire to erase national boundaries? Why do people not realize that the existence of sovereign nation states is a check and a balance to the ambitions of potential dictators and emperors? The 'rush' to world goverment is not a threat to the freedom of common men and women all over the world?
