Each patient is tethered to an intravenous bag of C and other nutrients hung above the table that will take 40 minutes to drip into them. The fee, not usually covered by insurance, is $110.

After those tumors were cut out, her oncologist offered irinotecan, which costs about $9,500 a week. But, she says, he held out little hope. He declined to be interviewed.

I don’t think we need to look any further to know why there is no funding for vitamin C research.

Mucho deniro is made by drug companies off today's cancer drugs. Vitamins cannot be patented, and therefore cut into the profits of those companies. So, the moral of the story is...

Makes sense. Wasn't there some article the other day saying that hot dogs cause cancer? I had heard years ago that citrus counteracted this possibility.

Reader's Digest had a bit about about Vitamin D helping to prevent cancer. Just about 10-15 minutes of sun a day. Or how long it takes before you turn slightly pink.
