Glad to hear life there is returning to normal.

Live like savages, die like savages. Triumph of the Great Society and the welfare state.

The answer of course is to make sure there is only enough housing so that contributing members of society are the only people able to return. That would mean rebuilding Lakeview.

Capt. John Bryson said police think the shootings were either drug-related or some type of retaliation attack. "I think the motivation we're looking at is pretty obvious," he said. "Somebody wanted them dead."
Captain Jack got this all figgered out!

Repopulating with the former criminals. This is the typical age group for gang bangers. There isn't enough info in the article to clearly state that is the case.

Let me guess, a Caddilac Escalade???? Wide rims skinny tires, spinning hub rims? Possibly drugs? Geeze am I stereo typing here? Thats what my mind's eye sees on the surface.

It looks like a mop and pail will be standard police issue down there now.
I'm sure the solution will be "more gun control".
Such a waste.

NO is a quagmire.
Maybe Murtha and Kerry can help set up a timetable for U.S. withdrawal from N.O.!

I think the U.S. should pull out of New Orleans. Too dangerous. We must withdraw.

"I think the motivation we're looking at is pretty obvious," he said. "Somebody wanted them dead." How can you say something like this with a straight face in front of the public? What a idiotic statemen. Somebody shoots the crap out of these guys and he says that he believes somebody wanted them dead. No sh** Sherlock!
