Anyone know media types in Dallas/Ft. Worth?

At least four Vietnam veterans who served together in the early days of US involvement in that conflict will reunite at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport this afternoon.

One of the men used the internet to locate the others, and has related tearfully how pleased he was to find his old comrades, all Marines of 2/3* who served in and around Phu Bai (sp?) in the 1964-66 timeframe.

While they do not seek publicity for its own sake, they have thought that it would make a good human interest story (my words: they said something like "people might like to hear about it") and are willing to share the event with the rest of us.

Some of the men are in ill health, but the comradeship formed in their youth still shows over the phone and in their willingness to travel to Dallas for this visit.

*Your humble correspondent was in the Army, and may have gotten that designator wrong. The men served in the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Division.
