I've known a couple of people who have found someone and married them via the internet.

However, one must be careful. There are an awful lot of married men seeking affairs and con men who will try to scam you.

Internet dating has gotten to be like the "meat market" bars of the 70's.

Sorry but I don't know of a good dating website. Those that advertise a lot like Match and EHarmony aren't terribly reliable (even though I'm registered on Match) because married and con men are members too.

One simply has to be very, very careful not to release too much personal info and be able to read between the lines.

I registered on Conservative Singles on the recommendation of several here.. I did not do a paid membership but just tested the waters. Seemed to be some nice guys there but again, one must be careful. I have not followed through with any just for personal reasons of being a bit overwhelmed here with some things in life & feeling the time just isn't right for this.

Right now I am re-investigating a relationship from 3 years ago that I ended, long story but the ending is still a question.
