Happy birthday, Sir Paul!

And he certainly doesn't look 64.

That's the "new 54," right?

Ah, the delicious irony of it all.

Even as we post I am listening to the sound track of "Sgt Pepper". The movie is on one of the cable channels and...well that was quite an era.

Travolta and "Be Cool" was on this morning but that music, "gangsta rap", can't hold a candle to yesterday's broadcast of "Saturday Night Fever!"

Seems it was only yesterday I was a youngster listening to "When I'm Sixty-Four" -- the album had just been released and sounded great to me.

I didn't realize just how great the Beatles music was (compared to much of today's "music").

Wow. Two out of four to make 64. I miss George, but not John. I had no idea that John was so divisive. Glad that Paul has shed the Linda-wannabe. Wishing him all the happiness that life can offer; hope he finds it again.

Most overrated music artist, IMO.

"People seem to be interested in him as a celebrity, but not as a musician," said Beatles historian Peter Doggett — a bitter blow for a man who with John Lennon formed rock's greatest songwriting partnership.

That is a stupid statement if ever I saw one! Not True!

I adore Paul McCartney always have always will, and YES I will still need him when he is 64!!!!
