Lacrosse lawyer wants apology for poster (Duke)

Lawyer Alex Charns unleashed a second salvo this week in what he calls his "poster war," demanding a public police apology for a March placard that sought help in solving the Duke University lacrosse rape case.

Charns, representing one of the unindicted players, also reiterated an earlier request that the Durham Police Department launch an internal investigation into the situation.

According to Charns, the poster libeled 46 lacrosse players before the district attorney acknowledged he had sufficient evidence to prosecute only three for the alleged rape of an exotic dancer during an off-campus party at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd. in mid-March.

The poster said the accuser "was sodomized, raped, assaulted and robbed. This horrific crime sent shock waves throughout our community."

I've seen articles and reports on TV news where Chalmers has made comments on cases. I think two - one was the status of a cross burning investigation.

It has been reported erroneously that Chalmers is out of town and that is not true. His Mother lives in Durham. If he was taking care of his Mother - it would only make sense for him to be in Durham.

It sure LOOKS like Chalmers comments on some cases and works periodically. I would believe that he hasn't returned full-time. I think Patrick Baker keeps the DUKE case, even if Chalmers returns and works 8 days a week.

I have heard Victoria Peterson on the Radio (once nationally) at least 3 times and twice she was spreading false information about the facts in the case. Facts known at THAT time.

Nancy Grace and Kimberley Gilfoyle and Wendy Murphy called them "Rapists" on the air. Seems to me that is not going to set well with the families of these kids.
BTW, I haven't see hide nor hair of Wendy Murphy in some time - in regard to Duke. Makes me wonder if she hasn't aleady received some papers referencing litigation.

I think Wendy was describing her inner feelings about Men when she described these players. She said they are very Hairy, she said they ordered two black strippers in order to degrade them. The cell phone call was placed during the gang-rape by designed to be the ultimate act of demoralization. She said they ejaculated in towels and she opined that that was the reason for the Defense attorneys not releasing the entire DNA report. She stated that she was confident that Nifong had DNA reports showing that one of more of those players semen was found on that bathroom towel. She said what kind of people support animals that anally rape a women with a broomstick. An attack that she still suffered from more than a month after the attack.

I doubt you can get on National TV and saw these type of things totally absent of the evidence. She now says the Father was telling reporters on and off the record that she was still recovering from that broomstick attack. But, she did NOT say according to her father. She led people to believe that she had a source from inside the investigation.

I predict Wendy, even with her craziness and hate, will tread lightly on the Duke subject from this point forward.

I'l bring some of my many recipes for play dough and finder paints to entertain the 2 year old.

Along with veggie trays for our snacking pleasure. I'm not currently drinking alcohol, so I can he;p with the driving duties.
