2006 SOCCER WORLD CUP - Day 8 Thread -

Friday's World Cup action begins at 8:55 a.m. ET as Argentina meets Serbia & Montenegro. The Netherlands and Ivory Coast follow that match at 11:55 a.m. If the Dutch and Argentines both win, both advance to the Round of 16 from Group C. Mexico and Angola conclude the afternoon at 2:55 p.m.

Mexico, with one win under its belt, could be in a great position to advance to the World Cup's Round of 16 with a win Friday against Angola (2:55 p.m. ET, ESPN).

It depends on how you define "Mexican".

Most of those people wearing green shirts are probably from LA, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, etc.

Mexico have come out of the blocks like a bullet. Center-back Carlos Salcido lets rip from the 35 yards and his effort dips just over the bar.
