Corsi, Tancredo on Liddy to Challenge WH unauthorized work on 'North American Union'
World Net Daily ^ | June 14, 2006 | WND

Posted on 06/14/2006 1:22:02 PM PDT by Kenny Bunk

Author Jerome Corsi and Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., will be guests tomorrow on G. Gordon Liddy's radio show to discuss the White House's effort to implement a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada that could lead to a North American union, despite having no authorization from Congress.

Corsi and Tancredo will join Liddy for the entire 11 a.m. hour, Eastern time, and take calls from listeners.

Corsi reported this week that Bush administration working groups have not disclosed the results of their work despite two years of massive effort within the executive branches of the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

The groups, working under the North American Free Trade Agreement office in the Department of Commerce, are to implement the Security and Prosperity Partnership, or SPP, signed by President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and then-Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005.

The trilateral agreement, signed as a joint declaration not submitted to Congress for review, led to the creation of the SPP office within the Department of Commerce.

Geri Word, who heads the SPP office, told WND the work had not been disclosed because, "We did not want to get the contact people of the working groups distracted by calls from the public."

WND can find no specific congressional legislation authorizing the SPP working groups nor any congressional committees taking charge of oversight.

Many SPP working groups appear to be working toward achieving specific objectives as defined by a May 2005 Council on Foreign Relations task force report, which presented a blueprint for expanding the SPP agreement into a North American union that would merge the U.S., Canada and Mexico into a new governmental form.

Why are they "sensless abuse reports" when the objective of them is clearly stated in the following posts - #210, 213.

8 years around here and I guess I still am not clear on what a moderator admin is supposed to do.

I thought they were supposed to facilitate discussion.

Silly me.

This thread was moved only because some people can't take the give and take, there were no personal attacks, there were no posting violations. If I missed it, please point out specific instances and I'll review. There has been a lot worse threads and comments allowed to stay in news, but because a couple posters were hitting the mods with non stop abuse reports, we moved it. Got specific examples of abuse, please post them.

The only difference is threads that show up in the right hand column. Breaking News is the most prominent (and most moderated).

I live here in North Texas and no, a new highway is not a good thing. Traffic is already congested enough from Austin to Dallas on I-35 (one of the planned routes) and they have been working on it, in various places, for the past 35 years and it's still not done. This would be a horrific mess!!

That really sounds like I-75 pretty much all throughout Ohio :)

***Concern about the sellout of our southern border is hardly paranoid or delusional, and it is ongoing.***

Everyone made fun of Sir Winston Churchill when he started sounding the alarm, too. You are in good company and are true patriots. Don't be distracted by the noise.

The backroom is where the flamewars and senseless nonsense be sent :)

I remember during the Terri fiasco that a lot of people were hanging around in the backroom only, just to stay away.

You'll only see the Backroom threads if you are either looking at them as a forum or if you watch the messages and just happen to hit one.

Moderators don't faciliate discussion, we enforce the posting guidelines, please point out exactly what posting rules have been violiated, other than those who don't agee with the discussion and opt to hit the abuse button. Instead of discussing the issue at hand, a handful run to the mods to remove 'unwanted' posts.

Agree that it's a mess and so are parts of I-10 in the Houston area, etc.

Now my question is if you don't want a new highway designed to take the long haul traffic off the local Interstates then what is your proposed solution[s]? At least this is a proposal to ease the already congested traffic flow. How would fund, route, construct, secure the ROW, etc?

MikefromOhio was addressing that comment to me. I am the king nut. And his tongue-in-cheek comment did not offend me in the least. Quit trying to get the teacher to punish someone.
