Okay, if you don't like soccer, please don't post how you don't like soccer. Just ignore this thread and move on.
For those who DO like soccer, this is too bad. I had high hopes for this team. They can still come back, but it'll be difficult.

The bottom line, is that the US is badly overrated.

I don't mind soccer. I think it's a decent sport.
But truth be told, I didn't expect the US to be on the wrong end of 3-0 score.
Ouch!

The US will never break into the upper eschelon of international teams until the best American athletes pursue the sport. That's not going to happen for a long time.

Is it single elimination or double?

Pretty low-scoring game.
How long was the field goal?

You know, I just don't think this game is ever going to catch on.

I wonder which is the worst domination, the Czechs over the US, or the Mavs over the Heat.

I'm cheering for Paraguay.
Unfortunately they lost on Sat.

We were simply outclassed. It's heartbreaking to lose a close game, but this one wasn't close. Czechoslovakia was clearly the better team.
What surprised and disappointed me most was the lack of aggression on offense for the US. Beasley and Donovan were practically invisible. Johnson was the only bright spot.

I heard it reported on the radio this morning that the US team managed to send one shot toward the goal. ONE.
The Czech goalie was basically just another spectator (with a lousy seat).
