You're right, in fact my husband just said the exact same thing as you did, lol.
But our population is so large...maybe soccer will catch on enough to get some of those who would be running backs and receivers in football and get them into soccer. Not everyone can play NFL.
It'll be hard to do with the salaries they make though. What an incentive to give football your all, right?
They needed to pass the rock to Kobe a little more...he alone would have scored over 150 against SoccerGuy.
What surprised and disappointed me most was the lack of aggression on offense for the US. Beasley and Donovan were practically invisible. Johnson was the only bright spot.

Here in Mexico, this is BIG news. People think the US Team was over confident, and the UNDER dogs, wanted to win real BED. The USA has one more chance..let's see what they do.
I heard it reported on the radio this morning that the US team managed to send one shot toward the goal. ONE.
The Czech goalie was basically just another spectator (with a lousy seat).
Well, this'll either be a complete momentum killer or a wake-up call for the US.
