I am very sick over this bad knees information.

We don't have enough information about that to make much of a judgment. It might just be cuts and scrapes. He did try to get to his feet after the accident but was advised to wait for medical personnel.

God, I hope he didn't tear his knees apart.

[spectre]

Mr. Spectre broke his left knee and right foot a couple of months ago. He walked to the car, drove home..walked in the house and could barely stand from the swelling and pain within a few hours. I got him to the ER.

So Ben "standing" up doesn't mean much to me as far as the seriousness of his fractures..BUT that said, Spectre is fully recovered now. Just some stiffness. But he's not 24 either :)
