Never had an urge to pierce my body or tattoo it, for that matter.
But I bet you a lot of FReepers have or did. :-)
If you like, please share your experience.

16 years old is too young to make that decision. Nuff said?

Where is that old article about kids with tattoos being 400% more likely to be involved in crime and sex?

I don't like getting stuck with a needle for legitimate reasons. Damned if I'll do it for a silly decoration.

I look forward to seeing old bald men who got their head tattoed while they had hair who now don't.
There are going to be some old guys with things like "BAD ASS" on their head and it will be a riot.

16 years old is too young to make that decision. Nuff said? Well, that depends. My dad got his first tattoo at 16 but he was already in the Navy and it was in England in WWII.

Yu's tattoos to say nothing of his pierced nose probably would have placed him in a select company of soldiers, sailors, bikers and carnival workers. But no longer: The American University 28 year old with tats and a nose piercing and he's a University employee.
Sounds as though he literally screwed Yu.

I worry about the injuries from headbanging to Metallica when I'm about 90.

By 90, probably could be nothing left to damage.

The results suggest that 24 percent of Americans between 18 and 50 are tattooed; that's almost one in four. Glad they threw in the last bit for the benefit of the present day, publicly schooled.
