I like the name Chance.
I weeded 2/3 of my veggie garden this morning and now it's raining. Drat!! I wish I could send you our rain.
The real story in the 50th District race was "hoof in mouth" disease.
The DemoncRATS had that won until their candidate suggested that illegal aliens could actually cast a vote in the race a couple of days ago.
She was done.
...UN DEPUTY SECRETARY-GENERAL SAYS UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT INTENTIONALLY WITHHOLDING FROM "MIDDLE AMERCIA" INFORMATION ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS THE UN IS DOING...
...AMBASSADOR BOLTON SAYS THE UN DEPUTY SECRETARY MADE "A VERY, VERY GRAVE MISTAKE"
"To have the deputy secretary-general criticize the United States in such a manner can only do grave harm to the United Nations," Bolton said.
Uh oh! Now he's done it. What a dweeb Deputy Secretary-General Mark Malloch Brown must be. Has he not heard of the internet?
Not much info gets by those who search for it. As for the others? I bet they don't know what the UN is. I'll take that back...They know...The UNcola....7UP.
LOL Thanks for the giggle. I needed it.
Back to the ironing board.
Thank goodness for Michael Bolton who is standing up to the UN.
As you may know, Ann Coulter takes on the Jersey Girl widows in her new book. I don't particularly think it's smart to attack widows in a book about Christianity and how presumably Godless the liberals are, but most freepers don't agree with my take on Ann.
Hillary Clinton reacted angrily to Ann's depiction of the Jersey Girls and released a press statement.
Ann released a press statement to Hillary which read:
BEFORE CRITICIZING OTHERS FOR BEING 'MEAN' TO WOMEN, PERHAPS HILLARY SHOULD TALK TO HER HUSBAND WHO WAS ACUSED OF RAPE BY JUANITA BROADDRICK AND WAS GROPING KATHLEEN WILLEY AT THE VERY MOMENT WILLEY'S HUSBAND WAS COMMITTING SUICIDE.'

Said Mark Malloch Brown a Briton who is deputy to Secretary General Kofi Annan, there is "too much unchecked U.N.-bashing and stereotyping." He added:
"Much of the public discourse [about the U.N.] that reaches the U.S. heartland has been largely abandoned to its loudest detractors such as Rush Limbaugh and Fox News," he said.
Malloch Brown also took a swipe at US Ambassador John Bolton. As per the Times article:
"Mr. Malloch Brown did not mention Mr. Bolton by name, but he criticized the working strategy that many diplomats have associated with Mr. Bolton since his arrival last August. "Exacerbating matters is the widely held perception, even among many U.S. allies, that the U.S. tends to hold on to maximalist positions when it could be finding middle ground," Mr. Malloch Brown said."
Hugh Hewitt links video of the Rick Monday moment 30 years ago...pretty cool... scroll down just a tad...
Also you'll see Ann Coulters gone too far...
I'm glad Hugh Hewitt found her comments disgraceful as well; she does our side NO favors when she talks like that.
A freeper on another thread reports this:
Mark Malloch-Brown rents a large home in Westchester County New York (30-45 minutes north of New York City) from George Soros. Hint, hint.

I no longer pay attention to anything Coulter says. She has gone overboard on way too many issues, and is nothing but a rabblerouser. Her last book (a gift) is going in the garage sale for 50 cents.
And criticizing Ann in no way means we approve of what the Jersey widows say about the President.
I rarely read her columns posted on this site or elsewhere and although she has a clever way with words, she has gone too far many times. She referred to the president as a drunk during the Miers nomination and this attacking widows is absolutely disgraceful. I'm ashamed of her as a woman and a self professed conservative.
When my first husband was killed in a car accident, I had amubulance chasers coming after me left and right. I chose to get on with my life with my son and not go through years of aggravation with lawyers, county government and insurance companies. Who needs it? Accidents happen.
Another reason I'm not too fond of the 4(?) 9-11 widows is that they remind me too much of Sheehan and what she is doing with her son's death.
I agree comments like Ann's don't help us one bit. It's best to leave well enough alone....on both sides.
Exactly!
Oh, definitely, Molly. I don't approve of those widows either and detest the things they've said about the administration, but I would never, ever attack them publicly.
It's so unChristian and in a book about Christianity (or lack thereof on the part of the liberals), Ann doesn't see how hypocritical she is acting.
When I see she is a guest on FNC, I change the channel. I'm that embarrassed by her that I can't even stand listening to what is going to come out of her mouth.
She is a Republican version of James Carville.
(((lysie)))
B I N G O ! ! !
I began ignoring her quite some time ago.
Are you having some relaxing time right now?
I agree with a lot of what she says, but remarks like.........
"....And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy".........................
...are just way over the line and do not help our cause in the least.
