My 1967 Pontiac GTO (the Best and Fastest car I've ever owned), with a 4 spd; 400 CID, HO (when new in 67)had a top speed of 134 mph.
And, while things were a little different then, never got a ticket. In fact, in 46 years of driving, have never had a moving violation and only 1 minor accident. "Knock on Wood and thank the Good Lord.
Quite a few FReepers here have already said "Go rent one. You'll see."
I had a Kia Rio up to 95 mph once (OK twice). The wife beside me didn't even notice.
Rental, of course.
