Megan Kendall says defenses sources are saying that CGM had sex with the driver the night of the alledged rape.

She also said that the prosecuter claims to have "good news" for their case. We have heard that before.

Well, it's common knowledge that she had sex with a "boyfriend" that night, but no one is sure what that means in CGM's world, or who that is, exactly.

I think it was common knowledge that she had sex with her boyfriend and two drivers sometime within a number of hours/days of the lacrosse party. I think it is new to have it confirmed that it was the day or evenning of the lacrosse party as many her has suspected.

CGM hasn't done an interview? What kind of research is this? Everybody knows CGM spoke publicly, including Susan Estrich.

As I pointed out else where every accuser regardless of the charge is called a liar when the defendant stands up and says not guilty. That is the nature of criminal accusations. In addition this woman not Nifongs lawyering caused her to be a stripper, have children while married with another man, do one on ones in hotel rooms, have a criminal record, have made two accusations in the past and not followed up on them. Nifong has stuck by her despite her lying to him about the DNA on himm her inability to pick who she claimed raped her until a third lineup and her picking one person who was not in Durham at the time.

Nifong had no problem calling the LAX players foul names.

DPD had no problem doing it either, including putting out a ridiculous wanted poster, when they knew that LAX players had already come forward and spoken volutarily to them.

I pretty much doubt they're liable, unless there is a contract that calls for it. They're all over 18, for one thing. I don't think the doctrine of In loco parentis applies to colleges in relation to students anymore, including legal duty to them, nor does the "Bystander" concept of apply as an obligation by the university. Just a guess.

That's right. Someone should email Susan the N&O interview in which Mangum clearly admits she's been doing one-on-one dats and this was her first private dance engagement.

Excellent post. That's the truth, Nifong should've eroded his credibility at this point.

We also have to remember that some of his supporters and some blacks speaking for groups in Durham have slammed Nifong for remaining quiet as of late. They've said he needed to respond as he was letting the alleged victim getting trashed in the media. Some have said on National TV that Nifong needs to leak information and no let this woman twist in the wind.

If you watch Nifong, he responds to the black groups from Durham. Remember the NCCU election conference where young blacks were putting him on the spot for a lack of indictments, speaker after speaker. How many days after that was it the indictments were SIGNED by Nifong?

The indictments were SIGNED by Nifong on the 12th.
The Election forum at NCCU was on April 11th.

Another thing to note is there is some "evidence" Nifong moved his timeline ONLY after hearing the Defense's alibi, photos, and Defense timeline.
On the indictments of Finnerty and Seligman, the "DATE OF OFFENSE" section has March 14th. If Nifong thought the Timeline, was earlier as he suggests now, it would've been more accurate to enter March 13th. If the offense was indeed on March 14th (as I believe Nifong thought it was), then the whole Defense timeline comes into play. Seligmann's phone calls, timestamped photos, Cab driver's testimony and records, ATM Receipts, etc.

I understand it says somewhere in another part of the document "On or around the date specified (March 14th)" - so, of course, there's leeway. But, if Nifong thought, back then, the crime occured when he says it did now, it would've only made sense for him to list it as March 13th - and, he did not.

The AV's Mother agrees evidence was tampered with in this case:

From the same article, a NEWS DIRECTOR hopes the AV's story turns out to be true: "Gayle Hurd told BlackAmericaWeb.com, adding that she hopes the alleged victim’s story does hold up -- for her sake as well as for the sake of every black woman."

I would venture to say a White News Director would be fired for telling a paper that he or she hopes the Lacrosse players story turns out to be true.

I would think people in most cases would HOPE a heinous, brutual crime DID NOT occur, however, in this case, most in the news are rooting for it to have happened. That's a hell of a thing to root for.

Why didn't this woman (News Director) say, I hope for the sake of race-relations in this country and, in Durham, that this crime did not occur?

So did they form their timeline based on what Taylor said...since it appears he said he dropped her off earlier than what the boys are saying and she was fine etc.....
