Who the heck is pushing this story? Their publicist? I see a different one about once a day.
Once again, freedom of speech is a double edged sword. You can wield it, but don't cry if you get cut.

Their victim schtick is getting rancid. How they can have any fans left is a mystery to me. The msm even got tired of Cindy "The Suffering" Sheehan after a few months, so the Ditsy Hicks won't be in the limelight long.

What smart business wimmin....
"Let's alienate 95% of our old listeners and make a comeback, yeah, that's the ticket!"

They don't understand the concept of the public providing them negative feedback.
They'll probably be in the porno industry within a couple of years.

... the music matters,'' says Maines, ``and radio and organized far-right people can't determine your destiny.''
Yeah, right, Nat ... we far-right people have not determined your destiny! Look in the mirror to see who has done that! LOL! And, maybe the music matters only when it is worth listening to ... and yours clearly is not ... or people would be listenting.

``I think we still have millions of fans,'' Maines says. ``Just maybe not 10 million fans.'' There, fixed it.

``Besides, where would we fit on the playlist between `Honky Tonk Badonkadonk' and `Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,' '' asks Maines..
It's more like "We're anti-American Trailer-Trash" or "What do you say to a skank-a$$ whore?"

And make a comeback by re-insulting those 95% again, just in case they were in a forgive and forget mood.

radio and organized far-right people can't determine your destinyOMG!!! It's that horrible vast right-wing conspiracy again!!!
I think she's delusional. You have to think you're important to have people organized against you!
Besides, "you sheep out there don't know to be offended unless the radio stations and those running the VRWC tell you to be. You're obviously too stupid to appreciate our intelligence and sophistication; after all, we really don't want our marvelous works of art playing behind a song like 'Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.'"
I think it's pretty obvious that they not only have no respect for the President, or the country, they have none for their former fans nor for their fellow singers.
To: Darksheare
Ah, the Dixie Dinks. I am amused with their "story" about having to struggle to find gigs in the early days of their band. It must have been tough to play at gigs that Maines' musically-connected family arranged for her and her gal pals to play.

Yeah, that had to be absolute torment you know.
Why, the shame and feelings of disgust that they HAD to be feeling over having her connected family doing that for her.
/ end sarc.
They should continue to pay for their disgrace.
