And Iwo Jima, the same thing occurred. The Japanese attempted to surrender, and they were burned in their caves.

Wasn't that in "Band of Brothers"? I think it was Spears (eventually
Captain?) that wiped out a group of surrendered Germans (off-camera)?
And I'm not familiar with any similar shooting of German prisoners
by US soldiers after Malmedy.

Yes, what you pasted is exactly what the FNC website shows. The problem is, O'Reilly definitely said "Malmedy" on the air -- and the next night, answered a viewer mail about his incorrect assertions about Malmedy -- so, yes -- the transcript appears to have been scrubbed.
