To be fair, Verizon & Bell South strongly denied that they gave any records to the NSA and I think Bell South demanded retractions of the stories. AT&T said it does not turn over any records without court orders.

Ok.. I'll go along to get along... the phone companies strongly denied that they gave the data to HSA / NSA... but, the government somehow has the data..

I'll just leave it at that...
