It is a real shame we allow plea bargaining in this country. I think it has done real harm too. DA's like Nifong plea out their bad charges most of the time.
I know like me you must wish, if it would not cause so much harm to the defendant, to have a trial in cases like this. I for one think it is terrible that a liar like Kate Faber got away without cross-examination or direct examination if the DA had charge her for lying under oath as he should have done. Similarly, Mangum should not get away without having to be cross-examined in this mess either. As it is, this case will die like CO v. Bryant and the feminazis will continue to slander and libel the defendants. But I do not wish more costs imposed on the defendants, so I just hope it all goes away and can not wish for a trial.
