I was glad they included Nifong's "If I were them I wouldn't want to face me either" delusional remark.

It is a real shame we allow plea bargaining in this country. I think it has done real harm too. DA's like Nifong plea out their bad charges most of the time.

I know like me you must wish, if it would not cause so much harm to the defendant, to have a trial in cases like this. I for one think it is terrible that a liar like Kate Faber got away without cross-examination or direct examination if the DA had charge her for lying under oath as he should have done. Similarly, Mangum should not get away without having to be cross-examined in this mess either. As it is, this case will die like CO v. Bryant and the feminazis will continue to slander and libel the defendants. But I do not wish more costs imposed on the defendants, so I just hope it all goes away and can not wish for a trial.

You know who the 2 most frightened men are in Durham at this time?

The 2 cops driving Crystal around. The probably went to the Police Union and insisted on Surveilance Cameras on the 3 of them at all times.

If it gets another headline, it scores her more money, or if Dad wakes up on the wrong side of his Hawaiian brochures - those 2 guys will be the two newest drivers for Crystal - the 2 newest indicted.

Who wants to get near her? She has a very loyal following. She needs no evidence, in fact, the less evidence the more convincing she is according to her defenders. Women that have been sexually assaulted never get anything right (except who did it), they appear traumatized - or not, they rarely have DNA on them, previous false accusations mean nothing, Drug use is evidence you drugged her and she decided to forgo the TOX testing, their prior history is off-limits in court, and when you attempt to explain what really happened - you are blaming the victim!

I wouldn't do that job for 1 million bucks!

Bryant had the victim's blood on his shirt......talking about lying, it was Bryant who at first denied having anything to do with the woman who's blood was on his shirt...

surely you can come up with better examples of lying or false accusations other than the Bryant non-trial, where he eventually apolozied for the "misunderstanding" and apparently gave a nice hunk of change to the accuser.....

I'd be extremely upset if the young men who stand accused give any apologies or money settlements to this woman if what I believe is true....that she fabricated the whole story .......because it would make me suspect the young men had something to be sorry for......

There are no parallels in this case.

Kobe had sex with her.
Kobe apologized.
Kobe bought his wife a huge ring.
Kobe gave lots of money to the girl.

The lacrosse boys will be doing none of the above.

Conservative plea bargaining is a good thing. Wholesale plea bargaining is a disaster.
