By the way. If there has been a silver lining in this case (albeit a very small one) it has been the emergence of Dan Abrams as a real go-to-guy in the matter of legal commentary. He has been the only reason I watch MSNBC. He is well-informed and tenacious in his questioning of guests. At the end of the show he answers viewer emails. Exchanges such as these are not uncommon:

Email: "Your attitude towards the victim nauseates me. What would you say if the victim were a white female?"

Abrams: "Oh, I would say drop the charges. I‘m not going to let the race baiters turn this into a race case."

Email: "Why not keep your nose out of the Duke case?"

Abrams: "Because I‘m the only one who is talking straight about the case."

Yes. You are right. Abrams is out in the lead.

However, since things got worse for the AV, I did word searches for Duke in the MSNBC transcripts.

Scarborough - 0 mins last week
Olberman - 0 mins last week
Tucker Carlson - 4-8 mins last week
Rita Cosby - 0 mins last week

Abrams must have some pull with that network. It's no coincidence that with the rest of the MSM, Rita and Scarborough abandon the story alltogether, and Carlson's time is reduced. Olberman only covered it when they were Racists foaming at the mouth. The network runs the shows and dictates the topics. I'm sure if Carlson could, he'd dedicate 30 minutes each night.

Tucker Carlson hasn't followed the legal aspects of the case as closely as Abrams has or given the case as much time as Abrams has, but he has featured the case almost every night and asked pragmatic, logical questions about the evidence of such screechers as Wendy Murphy, and done a fine job of putting her and others like her in their place by doggedly posing questions rooted in known facts.
