Yes. You are right. Abrams is out in the lead.
However, since things got worse for the AV, I did word searches for Duke in the MSNBC transcripts.
Scarborough - 0 mins last week
Olberman - 0 mins last week
Tucker Carlson - 4-8 mins last week
Rita Cosby - 0 mins last week
Abrams must have some pull with that network. It's no coincidence that with the rest of the MSM, Rita and Scarborough abandon the story alltogether, and Carlson's time is reduced. Olberman only covered it when they were Racists foaming at the mouth. The network runs the shows and dictates the topics. I'm sure if Carlson could, he'd dedicate 30 minutes each night.
I also found Tucker's subsidence of Duke coverage curious. I suppose it could have been his call, but I doubt it.
I wonder if the directive to tone it down came from the same network exec who suggested he remove his bow-tie?
Abrams has been top-drawer in his coverage of the case. Carlson has done well, too, on the whole. He's pretty steamed. I finally quit watching Scarborough because I couldn't stand watching a trained lawyer who used to be a promising member of congress talk about American idol for one more minute, and gave up on Cosby because her breathless pot-stirring about the cab driver was just the limit.
The pot-banging, pot-stirring hypocrites did themselves more harm than good, and MSNBC generally sucks anyway. Any news station that would run Hrdball about ten times a day is obviously biased and hard-up. They're lucky to have Abrams and carlson. Oberman? I thought that was a comedy/satire show.
