I went into a Wal-Mart in Texas to buy a 3X5 Texas Flag and a 3X5 American Flag. I have bought both at this Wal-Mart several times. This time no Texas Flag and only 1 American Flag were available but 12 3X5 Mexican Flags were available. The store is not located in a predominantly Mexican American area. I drove around to several Wal-Mart stores today and found many Mexican Flags and American Flags and even a few Texas Flags.

Any one else notice this in your area?

Soon all jobs at Walmart will be filled with illegals doing the jobs that Americans won't do.

Yep...Of course, I'm in a concentrated Hispanic area - but being in "Tejas", you are also.

Um... isn't that usually a sign that people *bought* all the American flags and did *not* buy the Mexican ones???
Walmart carries British flags, too. :-P

I buy a lot of Flags for our city government so I am familiar with the stock. The Mexican Flags are a fairly recent phenomenon in this store.

The Mexican Flags are a fairly recent phenomenon in this store. It's called "stocking what people want to buy."
Retailers put merchandise on shelves that will move. I've seen them do it.

*bought* all the American flags
Yes. It is a coming up on May 29, "when we Buy Buddy Poppy's Saluting our men and women in the military"! Cinco de Mayo is over. That must be the answer.

Dittos, I have these reactions sometimes to bilingual ads and such, but a store isn't a government or a political party.
A retail store has to stay in business by selling to the neighborhood, we can't take out government issues on retail stores.
