I don't think we went into that much depth--it was an intro course.

The lecture professor was an idiot, but the lab portion was really informative...8^)

NbC--Niobium Carbide. 105 grams per mole...8^)

So is the precipitate being measured in milliters or in moles?

If you're poly-sci and remember that much, that is really impressive! I tend to forget things from lectures rather quickly.

So is the precipitate being measured in milliters or in moles?

It will be measured as a weight percent, to see how the actual amount compares to the theoretical amount based on calculations. Also, to see how much has formed a precipitate.

I am having Inductively Coupled Plasma analysis done on my samples to determine this, but this will be done at another lab.
