Eh...a little what and what?

Ouch! And yikes...lol. Fortunately, with poli sci, I'm not likely to get injured. That was one of my requirements when I was selecting a major :)

HCl is hydrochloric acid (used to dissolve steel), HF is hydrofluoric acid, which is used to dissolve silica from the steel residue. HF is also used to etch glass, it is really nasty stuff. It attacks calcium (bone, finger nails, etc), so you have to be very careful using it. I will have others helping me with the HF, and will be 'well dressed' for it!!

So long as you stay away from all those liberal peace activist types. Things tend to get kind of violent at their protests.
