Most interesting! But still why must a cabal be evil?

Granted it is generally viewed that way but only I think because if you are successful you are a member of the valiant underground and if you fail you are labeled a cabal.

If you want to be nitpicky the "Sons of Liberty" could fall under the definition of a cabal.

While a cabal is a cabal, it is considered evil by those in power.

After the cabalists come into power, the name is changed.

In my book, the entrenched interests were the evil ones. The plotters against them were only described as conspirators.

After the action was over, it was referred to as "The Day of Announcement."

I'm such an easy-going guy.
