The sun is kinda boring - nothing happens in fine weather, compare it to a storm!!

80'F, that's 27'C - we get temperatures that high in July-August.

We were at about 23'C today, it's promised to reach 25'C over the weekend, which is unusual for early June over here.

If you say so, I'll trust you.
I rather have wine this evening . That would be later, I'm still at work. Not very busy as you can guess. hehe

Yes - external work is non-existant in my job.

Where I grew up, sometimes you get temps that high in February, but for sure regularly by April.

That's chilly spring weather in Georgia.

We can hit 40C on a hot August day, with one hundred percent humidity.

The American South did not prosper until air conditioning was invented!

My Irish and Highland Scot ancestors seem to have adapted pretty well . . . I'll bet the first generation or so never stopped complaining about the heat though.

Even folks who move down here from up north are shocked at the heat. My daughter's fifth grade math teacher moved here from Boston, and she almost died the first summer from heat stroke. Wasn't taking it easy and drinking lots of water, and I guess nobody told her that she needed to modify her routine . . .

I found Ireland and Scotland a bit chilly and damp - of course, we were there in October . . .

Oh, New Orleans and most of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico coast. I have had winters in Houston where my tomato plants made it through the winter, but they would stop producing by July because it was too hot.

In fact - it's a good thing overall - I never really liked working in the blazing sun, preferred moderate temps.
