Ah yes, and the distinct sounds of a putting green in the background too.
That would work.
Green Piece, er, Peace could park their shivering butts on some icy rock with signs saying "Say No To Galactic Vandalism!" where they'd be perfect targets for space rock slinging.
Any object out this far takes hundreds of years to move around, and the sun is just another star. If you want it to be warm, you have to bring your own suns.
Even so, a large enough body could have an atmosphere which could be made breathable. That takes a while too; perhaps not as long as Mars.

LOLOL this is the best one yet.
LOLOLOL!
LOL!
Brilliant!
(Just ask him)
Hmm.. wonder if we could make a mini nebula out of anything out there.
I don't care about the destination actually..
...it is all about the voyage.....
And who wants to go back, anyway!
It already is a mini-nebula.
The real question would be, could we find a place with enough gravity and atmospheric gas, that warming it up would be enough to bring it to life?
Then we could make it Eden, Venus, Barsoom, or any other place.
By the way, putting up suns will ruin any view, unless you want to orbit them in a way to have occasional night.
We could close-orbit them, and have night at the poles.
No need, I can see him on the green.

Heh heh heh heh heh..
Hmm.
There should be some chunks out there that are pretty dark, covered in frozen organic goo, and pretty big.
Warming them would make them brighter and more visible, plus give use of the organic substances on the surfacee.
Not certain there'd be anything roughly Mercury sized out there, but there should be enough icy aggregates out there to be able to tow some together and make your own world.
Exactly!
With a world full of resources. Even moon sized planetoids would have incredible amounts of area. Out that far, they would also have volatile gases not present on our Moon.
I will, the grass won't feel a thing.
The Doc, however, will be green with gack.
Pretty much thaw and vacuum up the sludge, then process it.
Heck, the Nuke warmers could be uutilized to refine and process any hydrocarbons found.
Okay, I'll trust you!
Drats, he moved.
