Sorry, I do not go away that easily. And instead of only banging out my position on the keyboard, I am actually getting a local ordinance through to ban pitbulls and other breeds known or thought to be vicious.

Hey COOL! Way to go champ!! Way to FORCE your views on the rest of us!

Thanks to folks such as yourself, I can look forward to owning a beautiful toy-poodle someday. Assuming of course, you draw the line somewhere before then.

When you're done with that you can start pushing for a ban on guns, SUV's, and pickups in the name of 'public safety'.

I'd start off with guns first, personally, since people don't 'need' them and they kill. Start with .50-cal rifles, then work your way to 'assault rifles' (even that in the US that is a BS term). People will start to get complacent as your statist cause progresses. Once that is completed, start in on handguns.

When you get to the cars that people don't 'need', remember to mention Global Warming™ REPEATEDLY, in addition to screaming about how an SUV hitting a Smart Car can potentially KILL everyone in it. This might be tricky, many libs seem to like their SUV's too.

For help with your dog campaign, I'd contact PeTA first. They'd embrace your ideology! (Also, if you get arrested for something illegal, they might even post bail!)

For guns, Rebecca Peters & the UN would be great help. Through the UN, you'll also get the help of various totalitarian regimes who have handled these kinds of situations before.

For cars, Al Gore is certainly an ally. He even has a new movie out that he might graciously let you distribute for a nominal fee.

All the best!

It will come to a vote of our representatives on the city council following a staff report and recommendation by city staff. Those that object to a banning of pitbulls will have the opportunity to express their opposition. They also can now rally their supporters to turn up the political pressure.

Do you live in some country where this is not the process?

I am not against gun ownership, SUV's and pickups. Guns especially are in the interest of public safety, especially when needed to put down a pitbull that has gone on the attack.
